"The Fats of Life" with Alice Lockridge

Introduction
Alice Lockridge, MS PhysEd, is an Exercise Physiologist, Entrepreneur and Professional Speaker. She is the owner of PRO
FIT, a PROfessional Fitness Instructor Training organization, and Exercise Express, a personal fitness workout studio, in Renton, near Seattle Washington.

Alice travels throughout the year conducting workshops for professional fitness instructors and physical educator. She's is known as "The Doctor Ruth of Safe Exercise" for her work to make their exercise classes safer and more effective for the public.

Alice has 22 years of experience working with women in physically-demanding, non-traditional trades. She has taught over 800 women how to work out to get higher paying jobs that require physical fitness and strength. She trained the first 21 women firefighter recruits for Seattle Fire Department. Every Electrical Lineworker Apprentice (wooden pole climbers) for Seattle City Light, since 1988, has worked out with her as part of their first 6-months on the job.

"Good For You" is Alice's trademark conference presentation. She believes exercise should be fun and easy to put into daily life - or it won't become a habit. Remember her basic motto "exercise is not a four-letter word".

Alice will also teach several "share sessions" this week - she loves teaching aerobic ball bouncing, rubberband strength building, Nutripoints to teach nutritional habits and getting 10,000 steps a day! Remember to Make Every Step Count.
